So we kicked-off already and we are half-way through. Great Opening Night to the festival with dim sum and beer and A SIMPLE LIFE. Q&A with Roger Lee, the producer and the film is his life-story. very very moving Q&A.
Lot's left to see, starting with Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro in Wu Xia tomorrow!
It's official - we had a kick off meeting this afternoon for 'Hong Kong 15' - celebrating 15 years of Hong Kong return to Chinese sovereignty.
Expect the Terracotta touch on this - exciting current films, up close with actors, directors, Q&A's. The challenge? We have one month in which to put it all together.
The festival will be sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic Trade Office, London.

All kicks on Monday 2nd July 2012.
Great news - Hansel & Gretel will be shown on FilmFour in August as part of a tie-in with FrightFest!
Stay tuned and we let you know the air date and time once we get a confirmation.
We planned our world domination strategy with a Terracotta Festival 2012 debrief meeting. The Exec Team met over shanghai dumplings and prawns in salted egg yolk and japanese tofu with mushrooms (dumpling legends is just an awesome place to eat and talk) and mulled over this years proceedings and we already kicked off plans for next years festival.
No, we're not crazy, a year goes by really quickly.
Terracotta continue our affiliation with Cambridge University and supports their second Korean Food Night which takes place tonight.
On offer on the food night is an array of delicious traditional food Kimchi, Na mul, Pa jeon, Dak gang jung and of course Bibimbap. There is a lucky prize draw featuring Terracotta DVDs.
Jal meokkesseumnida guys!
So what next my friends? Arirang is getting a cinema release on June 8th nationwide, so if you missed it at Terracotta Festival, you have another chance.
Part black-comedy, part psychological thriller ENEMY AT THE DEAD END (a.k.a DESIRE TO KILL) is out on DVD in July and we will begin production on it soon. Amazing premise for a film - two guys in a adjacent hospital beds - one man's paralysed, the other killed the paralysed mans wife but has amnesia.
Also been working away on the Hansel & Gretel blu ray release (thanks everyone behind the scenes plugging away on that, you know who you are!). It's looking great with some new extra features as well.
More films from the festival will be getting releases - HIMIZU will be out 1st June via Third Window Films, and we are taking a look at some other titles from the festival to distribute as well.
It's been a busy and exciting edition of Terracotta Festival this year - here's a round up of what's happened:
MY WAY opened the festival with a spectacular epic WW2 story that stretched from Asia, to Russia, to the beaches of Normandy.
Director Guo Xiaolu (She, A Chinese) gave a wonderful Masterclass on directing films without a budget.
We tried out new Xinjiang restaurant on Lisle St - Wulumuchi - and were hooked on the lamb dumplings with spicy sauce! Wulumuchi was part of the 8 restaurant food pass that we introduced this year (8 meals for £60!).
POPPY HILL was sold out and there were long long queues to get in.
TERROR COTTA horror night was close to sell out and we laid on three Korean surprise short films in between our advertised programme, one of which was a Terracotta team effort with actress Kim Kkobbi! We also showed a trailer for our upcoming release FAIRY TALE KILLER.
We met the Taiwanese Ambassador with lead actor Da Ching before SEEDIQ BALE and people got free BUBBLE TEA! thanks to Bubbleology, and free mochi thanks to Taipec.
The party was rammed and we had food and drinks provided thanks to Taiwan Representatives Office.
More food the next day in the form of kimbap during our inaugural Breakfast Club - two gentle Korean comedies to ease you into Sunday.
Toshiaki Toyoda (Monsters Club, Blue Spring) held a Masterclass on directing.
HIMIZU won the Audience Award 2012 and legendary actor Denden was present to accept the award.
We packed up and went home, and already started thinking about next year....
If you have pictures or stories from the festival, or suggestions from next year, don't forget to either post comments here, or tag #terracotta12 @terracotta_dist on twitter or post to the Facebook group: /terracottafestival

The excellent frightfest ezine this month features an article on what makes Asian Horror work and is a MUST READ for film students of the genre.
There is also a preview of Terracotta Festival 2012 and following the ezine going live, the surge in traffic to the Terracotta Fest site has caused us to crash for a bit too! Big up frightfest!
There has been a huge surge in interest in Terracotta Festival 2012 and our website crashed this afternoon due to a huge jump in traffic - we attribute this partly due to the bank holiday meaning everyone was surfing the net on maundy Thursday afternoon and finally getting round to booking tickets; partly due to the issue of the Fright Fest ezine, who we are partnering with on the TERROR COTTA HORROR MOVIE MARATHON!
Don't be er... scared off, our site will be back online soon!
